Version numbers, sizes and system requirements for each build are on the download page and in the release manifest.

Install on Mac

  1. Download Rolello from the Mac card on the download page.
  2. Drag Rolello to Applications and open it. The app is signed and notarized by Apple.
  3. Start typing. Rolello updates itself from then on.

Install on Windows

  1. Download Rolello from the Windows card on the download page.
  2. Unzip the download anywhere. It is a portable zip.
  3. Run Rolello.exe.

Your notes and sync

Your notes are plain Markdown files in a folder you own, openable in any editor. Sync between devices starts when you sign in with an Epiphani account, and a 24-word recovery phrase from Settings brings your notes to any device. See privacy for how sync is encrypted.
